Welcome to Ella-Ang: A Journey of Faith, Wellness, and Holistic Living
Hello and welcome to Ella-Ang! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Angela Mondragon and I’m a Christian herbalist, urban farmer, and a proud single mom. The mission of Ella-Ang was inspired by my beloved grandmother, Ella, who was not only a passionate farmer but also a woman of deep faith, perseverance, and a strong sense of family. Her example of hard work, dedication to raising her children in faith, and commitment to living a holistic, healthy life is something that’s ingrained in all I do at Ella-Ang.
Growing up, I saw firsthand the need for backyard farming, as well as the disconnect between the mainstream American lifestyle and the holistic nature of God’s creation. It was this experience and my Grandmother's example, that inspired me to blend my Christian faith with my love for gardening, herbalism, and living a life of wellness.
At Ella-Ang, I’m passionate about helping people lead healthier lives—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I believe that wellness is not just about the body; it’s about nurturing the soul and mind too. Everything I do, from the herbal teas and healing salves I create to the fresh produce I grow and the educational forums I offer, comes from this belief that true wellness involves the whole person.
In our forums, we dive into a variety of topics: from nutrition and homeopathy to exercise, spiritual health, and self-sufficiency—all seen through the lens of Christian faith. I truly believe that we are whole beings, interconnected in body, mind, and spirit, and by nurturing all aspects of ourselves, we can experience the fullness of God’s gift of health.
As a single mom, my journey hasn’t always been easy. But I’ve been blessed with a deep faith and an unshakable belief that God has called me to help others in this way. I’m raising my children in a home where we value both their dreams and the importance of wellness. My work with Ella-Ang not only supports my family but also allows me to help you on your own wellness journey.
